1. I have archived much of my life through collected objects.
2. I have moved a smaller studio, making it necessary that I get rid of a lot of these objects.
3. I have done so by using them as the raw material for one enormous collage, created inside a 30-yard dumpster.
4. Oh, also, I have photographed around 500 of these objects and will display them here, accompanied by a brief history of each item.

OREGON BELT BUCKLE

8.7 x 5.7 x 1.5 cm
I bought this for my wife in a second hand shop. I thought, "She is from Oregon, she has a belt, I'm an awesome husband." I dropped it about 12 minutes after I bought it and the hook that latches into the belt hole snapped off. The buckle is a mixed metal cast job, nothing that can be soldered or welded to. In other words, it was busted, non-functional,  and my awesomeness was depleted.

  1. It's still full of Oregon awesome! And was meant for this project. Thus your awesomeness is restored

This project is also full of awesome. Can't wait to see more!
