1. I have archived much of my life through collected objects.
2. I have moved a smaller studio, making it necessary that I get rid of a lot of these objects.
3. I have done so by using them as the raw material for one enormous collage, created inside a 30-yard dumpster.
4. Oh, also, I have photographed around 500 of these objects and will display them here, accompanied by a brief history of each item.

FOLLOW YOUR FEET DAT TAPE

8 x 6 x 1.6 cm
The first commercial animation job I ever directed was a kids music video called 'Follow Your Feet'.  The music for the piece was recorded on DAT. Everything was wicked fancy and the future was our breakfast.

MY PAGER

7.3 x 4.8 x 2.8 cm

This is my pager from when I moved to New York in 1995. This is how it would work: you would call my number and when you heard 3 beeps, you would enter your number. I would then find a pay phone and call you back, and tell you or what bar I was at or whether I was available to work a 14 hour day the next day, most likely driving a truck around Manhattan collecting crap for a commercial.

THIS IS HOW I AM CATALOGUING EVERYTHING.

I am going to photograph about 400 of the objects that I've collected. I am going to photograph them like this, with a camera.
