1. I have archived much of my life through collected objects.
2. I have moved a smaller studio, making it necessary that I get rid of a lot of these objects.
3. I have done so by using them as the raw material for one enormous collage, created inside a 30-yard dumpster.
4. Oh, also, I have photographed around 500 of these objects and will display them here, accompanied by a brief history of each item.

ELMER'S GUAYABERA

24 x 37 x  2.1 cm
As my Grandfather, Elmer Premo, embarked on the twilight of his time, he chose not to rough out what the Vermont winters had in store. In its stead, he headed to Puerto Rico, where he wore guayaberas (this one never made it out of the package) and experienced only minor bouts of skin cancer.

  2. ELmer Premo indeed. My uncle Rob (who goes by his middle name) is actually Elmer Jr, so there have been 2 of them as far as I know.
