1. I have archived much of my life through collected objects.
2. I have moved a smaller studio, making it necessary that I get rid of a lot of these objects.
3. I have done so by using them as the raw material for one enormous collage, created inside a 30-yard dumpster.
4. Oh, also, I have photographed around 500 of these objects and will display them here, accompanied by a brief history of each item.

My junior year in college the monster truck show came to the Providence Civic Center. We smoked as much marijuana as we could, shelled out fifteen bucks for the ticket and prepped for an evening of ironic hilarity. All I remember is feeling underwhelmed and hungry.

    I was in the same place at the same event about six years later. I remember being overwhelmed by the noise. Not because the machines were that powerful, but because they put microphones in the trucks and amplified the engine sound through the stadium PA.
